Promises in the Dark
Capitalism is the bully
So many find too wooly
Like kissing the hand
That beats you, understand?
An incompetent society
Based on propriety
To shock you into sobriety
From a lack of variety
Humanity, only now waking
To realize its uselessness
To continue such foolishness
Is madness to the point of shaking
A topic so taboo
Ostracizing its opposition speakers
From here to Kathmandu
And all looking for change seekers
A muddled puddle of rebuttal
At the mere mention of its detention
Defending their loyalty, like royalty
Yet they follow its shallow fallow
